Broadway Muse

Broadway Muse — known simply as Broadway — is a recording artist, songwriter, and multidisciplinary creative whose work defies easy categorization. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, with roots spanning both the city's South and West Sides, Broadway's artistic foundation was built through storytelling, observation, and self-expression from an early age.

Her creative journey began with poetry, a passion that earned her admission to the University of Wisconsin–Madison through First Wave, a nationally recognized, full-tuition scholarship program centered on urban arts and Hip-Hop culture. Selected as one of only a small number of students nationwide, Broadway immersed herself in a unique interdisciplinary environment that cultivated artistic excellence through multiple lenses of Hip-Hop expression. It was during her time in First Wave that her work evolved beyond the written word, marking the transition from poet to musician and laying the foundation for her future as a recording artist.

Though still at the beginning of her musical journey, Broadway's developing body of work has already placed her on stages alongside some of the most compelling names in contemporary music, including Megan Thee Stallion, Moon Hooch, SQUEAK, and Saba of Pivot Gang. She was also slated to open for Maxo Kream before the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the touring landscape globally. Beyond live performance, Broadway has collaborated with many artists such as NoCloud, Frsh, Klevah of Mother Nature and others, further establishing her presence within a diverse and evolving creative community. Her work has also led to recording opportunities with renowned producer DJ Pain 1, and she was contacted and encouraged by Netflix casting scouts  to apply for Rhythm + Flow during the show's Chicago-focused talent search, reflecting growing recognition of her artistry within the industry.

In the years that followed, Broadway turned her focus inward—investing in professional recording equipment, developing her engineering skills, and deepening her craft as a songwriter. That work expanded into writing for other artists and building a catalog positioned for sync licensing opportunities,  all while nurturing the creative passions that continue to shape her sound.
